Nevenka Jesenik, Manager

Born in Maribor, Slovenia, studied English at University of Maribor and Ljubljana with over 30 years of teaching experience. Currently teaching English, pupils aged 6-15 at Duplek Primary School.

Involved in many projects at school and national level, such as Reading Literacy, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Cross-curriculum Teaching, Formative assessment, Empowering Students with Improving Literacy And Access to Knowledge.

Member of English Testing Commity at the National Examinations centre and member of the National English Competition Commity at the National Education Institute of the Republic of Slovenia.

Author and co-author of English coursebooks, workbooks, teacher's books and suplementary material for pupils and teachers of English.  

Author of several articles in different publications.

Involved in teacher training meetings, organised by the National Education Institute of the Republic of Slovenia, IATEFL Slovenia, University of Ljubljana and University of Maribor.

In 2005 received Silih Award for educational work in primary school.
